What You'll Do as a Pediatric SLPA
Under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist, your responsibilities may include:
- Carrying out treatment plans created by the supervising SLP
- Supporting children with speech sound, language, and communication goals
- Using play-based and structured activities to keep sessions engaging
- Tracking progress and documenting session data accurately
- Preparing materials and maintaining a welcoming therapy space
- Communicating with parents and caregivers about home-practice strategies
- Working with the care team to support each child's progress

Who We're Looking For
We're hiring SLPAs who are compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children.
Typical qualifications include:
- Eligibility for or current licensure as an SLPA in North Carolina, per state board requirements
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders, or completion of an approved SLPA program
- Clinical experience or fieldwork with children (preferred)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Reliability, flexibility, and a team-first attitude
